Custom Lighting fixtures for Purdue University

bo-mar has years of experience with custom lighting fixtures and provides the necessary expertise to custom fabricate lighting projects of any size. Purdue University representatives contacted us seeking a cost-effective solution for a large industrial lighting structure wanted for their Biomedical Building. The Purdue team desired lighting that fit with the Modern/Art Deco interior of the facility where the fixtures would be installed. Working from industrial design concept sketches, bo-mar was able to assist in designing and fabricating Purdue’s custom lighting structures. Our engineers developed an industrial sized (5′ diameter x 5′ tall) structure, taking cues from a commercial fixture favored by Purdue. These elaborate custom fixtures were built all within the constraints of the budget. The unique design has no visible fasteners and uses fluorescent technology, thus reducing energy costs.
