bo-mar industries has been fabricating metal products since 1991.
History
bo-mar was established in November of 1991 when owners Bob and Mark Buchanan began work in a 1,000 square foot section of their father’s pole barn. Both Bob and Mark had worked in engineering and manufacturing before they decided to forego employment with Amtrak in order to make their dreams of owning a metal fabrication shop come true. The brothers had built up a working machine shop over some twenty years of restoring and racing automobiles.
In 1995, after four years of working in “the barn,” the brothers ventured out and rented a 6,000 square foot building. That year they also purchased their first laser cutter, press brake, and shear. Their 6,000 square feet soon turned into 12,000 square feet, and eventually bo-mar utilized 18,000 square feet. Still growing, bo-mar purchased its own 38,000 square foot building in 2000. A decade later, bo-mar consists of more than 40 skilled employees and a variety of machines and equipment. bo-mar is dedicated to the highest level of quality, illustrated by our ISO 9001:2008 Certification and Nadcap Accreditation.

Sometimes it is difficult to answer the question “so what do you do?” bo-mar is much more than a “job shop”. We offer a range of innovative services for many diverse industries. From precision custom metal fabrication and industrial laser cutting, to assisting in bringing design concepts to life with our prototyping services, our experienced team will provide exceptional assistance. Our mission is to present customers with a team of engineers and craftsmen designing truly innovative solutions to PLUS OR MINUS ZERO.
